What is it?
Botox/Xeomin are FDA approved injections used to reduce the signs of certain lines and wrinkles on the face. The protein in Botox and Xeomin blocks the nerve signals from the brain to the injected muscles. It prevents you from making the expressions that cause certain wrinkles making it especially effective in smoothing wrinkles that are caused by facial movement. It both treats wrinkles as well as prevents new ones from forming. Our Certified Nurse Practitioners inject to smooth your complexion without interfering with your ability to make facial expressions. Results from Botox and Xeomin typically begin in about 5-7 days and last between 3-4 months
Does it Hurt?
As with any injection there can be discomfort, but the needles use for our Botox and Xeomin injections are very small so pain experienced is usually minimal and non-persistent.
What is the Downtime?
There is typically no downtime following Botox/Xeomin injections. You may experience minor redness and minor swelling at the injections sites, which typically resolves within an hour of treatment. It is possible to have bruising, bleeding, tenderness, or itching. These reactions are all normal and usually last no more than a day or so.

How much does Botox/Xeomin Cost?
Cost of Botox/Xeomin is $15.50 per unit. The number of units needed to treat the area(s) of concerns will be individually determined by one of our Nurse Practitioners at your consult. Botox/Xeomin is also available for purchases in banks that do not expire. A 50-unit bank is $725 ($50 savings). A 100-unit bank is $1,350 ($200 savings).
