Kathy Kartchner
APRN, FNP-C
Kathy Kartchner, co-owner of Blue Mussel Aesthetics, graduated from the University of Arizona in 1998 as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner with a Masters Degree in Nursing. In 2001, she relocated to Juneau Alaska to work as a flight nurse. After 30 years of healthcare experience, Kathy combined her medical expertise with her passion for creativity and opened the doors of Blue Mussel Aesthetics. Creating the first medical spa in Juneau which focused exclusively on the field of Aesthetics Medicine.
Alisha Lockridge
CLINCAL MEDICAL ASSISTANT
Alisha is a local Juneauite, born and raised right here in our State Capitol. Alisha is a certified Medical Assistant that completed her studies in Portland, Oregon.
Her versatility and expertise allows her to provide both clinical procedures and administrative skills. Alisha brings a passion for skin care and beauty to the Blue Mussel Team. Family keeps Alisha organized and busy, she and her husband are raising two young daughters in Juneau.
Rebecca Young
APRN, FNP-C
Rebecca Young, co-owner of Blue Mussel Aesthetics moved to Southeast Alaska in 1996 to pursue a career in flight nursing. In 2001 she attended the University of Anchorage Alaska and obtained her Masters Degree in Nursing, specializing in Family Practice. Rebecca has over 20 years of critical care experience and currently works as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in Juneau. In 2012 she expanded her talents and expertise into Aesthetic Medicine.
Lynn Hirschi
MEDICAL ASSISTANT
Lynn Hirschi moved to Juneau, Alaska in 2007 looking for adventure. She graduated from the College of Southern Idaho as a Certified Medical Assistant in 1994 and has over 20 years experience in the health care industry. She also works at a busy Family Practice Clinic. She is certified in laser therapy, has a passion for aesthetics, and is and expert in medical grade skin care.
Kristin Lee
RN, BSN
Kristin Lee is a Registered Nurse originally from Michigan, but has called Juneau home since 2015. She graduated in 2009 from California State University San Bernardino with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and Spanish minor. Upon graduation, she worked for several years on a surgical floor in Southern California. She loves acquiring new skills and meeting new people. She is also passionate regarding all things aesthetic and is very excited to become part of the Blue Mussel team! Additionally, she is a busy mom of four kids and helps manage her husband’s local dental practice. In her spare time, she enjoys teaching exercise classes, practicing her Spanish, and traveling with her family.

Tiona Conger
PRACTICE MANAGER
Tiona met and married her husband in Alaska, now they raise their lovely daughter Carina in Juneau. They are adventuresome outdoorsmen who enjoy skiing, hunting, fishing, and traveling. She grew up in a musical family, with both parents being opera singers in Russia. She had her first acting job at the Theater of Opera and Ballet at age 6. Her musical household and exposure to many cultures growing up gave her a deep appreciation for art and beauty, making her a great fit in medical aesthetics. Tiona holds a Linguistics degree, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Alaska Southeast. She oversees the financial and executive aspects at Blue Mussel Aesthetics.
Hien Tran
FRONT DESK ASSISTANT
Hien was born in Vietnam and grew up in Juneau AK. Hien studied Apparel Designing at the Art Institute of Portland before switching to massage therapy after a car accident. Hien has been a masseuse, banker, lender in the last 16 yrs of moving back to Juneau. Hien enjoys giving back to her community and is involved with some local nonprofit organizations such as the Glacier Valley Rotary Club, and Southeast Alaska Food Bank, 100Women Who Cares. She enjoys hiking, camping, and reading. Hien’s professionalism, perky attitude, and countless years of customer service brings a fun energy to the Blue Mussel Aesthetics spa environment and makes a great addition to the team.
Camille Severance
OFFICE MANAGER
Camille moved to Juneau in 2005 after receiving her BA in Interdisciplinary Studies from the Ateneo de Manila University in the Philippines. Juneau is now home to her and her husband and their 3 children. When Camille is not shuttling her kids between school and sports activities, she volunteers her time to various organizations in the community. She loves hiking, cooking, and going on adventures with her family. Her leadership, energy, and organizational skills, along with her passion for helping people, make a Camille a key part of the Blue Mussel Aesthetics team.
